Artist Statement

 My artwork explores the world around us and my eagerness to respond to thoughts, ideas, intriguing imagery and the beauty in nature. I do believe the expression that “the metaphor knows more than the poet.” 

It is in the process of creating that the relationships are formed, the nuances unveiled, the complexities blended; and sometimes, mysteries revealed.
Something I learned in studying improvisational theatre: you have to suspend judgment and go with the flow, to let the journey take you.
